What we do

Handyman services in Casselberry, FL

We handle drywall repair, door and window repair, deck and fence repair, cabinet and hardware replacement, TV mounting, gutter cleaning, caulking, trim repair and multi-item punch-list visits. We do not perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC or roofing work.

Drywall repair & patching

Holes, cracks, water staining and popped tape seams — matched, patched and painted to blend, not just plastered over.

Matched texture and paint, not a visible patch. We check for the underlying cause first — a one-time impact, a slow roof or plumbing leak (referred to a licensed trade if so), or normal seasonal settling.

Door repair & replacement

Sticking, dragging or non-latching doors; hinge, lockset and strike plate repair; interior and exterior door replacement.

Hinge, lockset, strike plate and weatherstripping repair; interior and exterior door replacement, including matching hardware on original 1970s–80s door sizes where the opening has not been modernized.

Window repair

Stuck sashes, broken balances, failed weatherstripping and screen repair on the original and first-generation windows this city has a lot of.

Stuck sashes, broken balances, failed weatherstripping, screen rebuilding. We do not do structural glazing replacement on impact-rated systems — that is a licensed glazing contractor’s job.

Deck repair

Board replacement, railing repair and a real look underneath before we quote anything — Florida humidity rots a deck from the framing up, not the surface down.

Board and railing repair. If the framing, footings or posts are compromised, that is structural work that likely needs a permit — we tell you before we start, not after.

Fence repair

Leaning posts, broken panels, sagging gates. We tell you upfront when a job needs a permit and who issues it at your address.

Post, panel and gate repair. New installation and larger section replacement commonly needs a permit in Casselberry (published fee: $100) — see the fence repair cost page and our fence permit answer.

Cabinet & hardware replacement

Hinges, slides, knobs and pulls; cabinet door and drawer-front swaps on the original builder-grade boxes still in most Casselberry kitchens.

TV mounting

Wall mounting at the right height and stud pattern, with concealed wiring on request.

Gutter cleaning

Debris removal and downspout checks — the highest-frequency call in a city with 30-plus lakes and heavy tree cover.

Caulking & weatherproofing

Around windows, doors, tubs and exterior trim, where a small gap turns into a drywall call a year later.

Trim & baseboard repair

Matching or replacing damaged trim, including profiles that do not match anything on the shelf at a big-box store.

Punch-list & multi-item visits

One trip, several small independent jobs — the most requested visit type for rental turnovers and move-in checklists alike.

Popular with landlords and investors — several Casselberry subdivisions in our service-areas research run 40–54% non-owner-occupied, where a single punch-list visit between tenants beats scheduling five separate trips.

What we do not do, and why

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing are never on our list — at any job size.

Florida does not require a state contractor licence for general handyman work like ours. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing are different: they always require their own licensed contractor, no matter how small the job. If a job is electrical or plumbing, we say so and point you to a licensed contractor instead of stretching our scope to keep the work.

Read the full breakdown, with sources, on the licensing guide.

Not sure which of these your job is?

Describe it or send a photo and we will tell you plainly.
