Casselberry publishes a flat $100.00 fence permit fee. But roughly the same “Casselberry mailing address” area is not all one jurisdiction: Deer Run and the Fern Park area (ZIP 32730) are unincorporated Seminole County, and permits there go to the county, not the city.

Deer Run — one of the largest single-family subdivisions carrying a Casselberry mailing address — sits in unincorporated Seminole County. The city annexed part of it from 1978 to 1982, the county sued over the annexation’s legality, and it was de-annexed. ZIP 32730’s postal city is Fern Park, also an unincorporated Seminole County community.
Any permitted repair at those addresses files with Seminole County Building Division in Sanford, not with the City of Casselberry on Triplet Lake Drive. Different portal, different fee schedule, different inspector. Ask us to confirm jurisdiction before we quote permitted work at your address.
